Join Modern Electric x Next Door Neighbour Studio for the first in a series of evenings full of crafts and drinks!

Art Clubs are fun friendly nights where you eat, drink, and get crafty! These are entry level crafts that are focused on fun.

July 3rd from 6:00-8:30, join us for snacks, drinks and WEAVING BASICS (first drink is included in your ticket price)! All materials are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own yarn (if you have a favourite). You’ll leave with your own loom and the basic skills to create your own woven artwork. No experience required.

Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce myself to all of our new followers! I am Jill, co-owner of Nextdoor Neighbour Studio. I am a painter @jillpaintspaintings, mom of 3, and live in the Glenelm neighbourhood where our new studio is located. I’m currently teaching classes out of my tiny home studio (Art with Jill!) until we move in March! I will really miss this magical little studio…but it was time for a bigger space!

My classes are often process based, meaning we focus on the making/experimenting/play rather than the final product. Skill building is peppered in, as we look at contemporary art and art history to inspire our projects.
There are still a few spots left in my classes for Spring! Spring session begins April 7th, please check out our classes on the website in our bio! Hope to see you there♥️

SUMMER ART CAMP 2025 DATES ARE HERE!! No better time to dream of summer than during a Winterpeg deep freeze 🥶🤪

⛺️ Art camp registration will open SUNDAY MARCH 9 @ 1:00pm! Mark your calendars!

⛺️ We’ve got a few more weeks to choose from this year, with a few half day options and a “drop in” camp as well.

⛺️ all camps will be held at our new location, but I assure you we will bring the big blue tarp tent vibes there! Same fun summer camp shenanigans you know and love will all happen at the Next Door Neighbour Studio and surrounding parks and outdoor spaces!!
